In order to compete, Huawei has adopted many of the same tactics that these companies are using to sell their smartphones. The Glory or Honor smartphones seek to offer an attractive package at a good price, which the consumer can purchase directly, usually online, from the manufacturer.

What's new in the Honor 6 compared to the Honor 3C?
The Honor 3C 4G should be considered to be the predecessor of the Honor 6. Like any new phone, the Honor 6 will include new features or updates to existing ones. Here are some of the more notable differences:
- The biggest difference between the Honor 3C and Honor 6 is the one you'll notice when you hold it. Whereas the Honor 3C was made of plastic like most smartphones, the body of the Honor 6 is made of a metal alloy consisting mostly of aluminum.
- One of the biggest drawbacks of the Honor 3C was that it was a tri-band smartphone, which meant the phone could not be used everywhere. The Honor 6 is now a quad-band smartphone, which means that it's compatible anywhere in the world. For faster 3G and 4G speeds, the Honor 6 comes in different versions. You have the H60-L01, H60-L02, H60-L11 and H60-L12. These differ only in the network frequencies they support and are meant for different parts of the world.
- Like the Honor 3C, the Honor 6 has a five inch touchscreen. However, the HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 is now replaced by a Full-HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080. In addition, the bezels around the display are now much smaller on the Honor 6.
- The Honor 6 has a better camera with 13 megapixels, the Sony IMX214 Exmor RS. This camera supports a smaller pixel size for increased resolution photos. There's also a dual-led flash, which helps improve color in pictures.
- The Honor 6 comes with a 3100 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, which is substantially bigger than the one found in the Honor 3C 4G.

There are also other changes in the type of processor used, the amount of memory and internal storage. Overall, the Honor 6 has been beefed up significantly. On the other hand, the Honor 6 is substantially more expensive. The Honor 6 goes for between $325 and $350, depending on the version, in contrast to the Honor 3C 4G which varied between $160 and $200.
Which is better: the Honor 6 versus the Honor 3C 4G
The Honor 6 is a different smartphone which targets different parts of the public in comparison to the Honor 3C. The Honor 3C is a mid-range smartphone for those interested in value, while the Honor 6 is a premium smartphone for the high-end consumer.

In my opinion, the Honor 6 / Glory 6 is not suitable for previous owners of the Honor 3C 4G looking for a replacement. The new Honor phone is designed for a different type of person who is more interested in features at the cost of price. If you chose the Honor 3C 4G because it offers the most amount of features at the lowest cost, then the Honor 6 is not for you.
Those people looking for value will probably not like the change in direction with the Honor 6 towards the premium and high-end and will most likely prefer the Honor 3C 4G because it offers more value as a mid-range smartphone at a low price for the blue-collar user.
On the other hand, if you're someone who wants a state-of-the-art smartphone which can do anything you could want to do with a smartphone without any limitations, then the sturdy Honor 6 is a suitable option at a fair price. It offers many goodies that you won't find in previous Honor models.
The phone easily runs all types of smartphone apps, from simple social media apps to the most powerful 3D games thanks to its octa-core processor and ample memory. The high-res display is noticeable better than its predecessor and the phone will last the whole day, even with heavy use.
The Honor 6 is not the great bargain in terms of value that the Honor 3C 4G was, but it's a superior phone for daily use. Unlike its predecessor, there are no real weaknesses that could result in someone not being able to use the phone such as the lack of compatibility with network frequencies.
All in all, depending on what you look for in a smartphone, the Honor 6 can be good or bad. It can be ad compared to the Honor 3C because it's almost double the price. At the same time, it offers several premium features that people will like. Therefore, if you can afford its price tag, the Honor 6 will deliver and you won't be disappointed.
